2024 Adventures

I last wrote a post towards the end of February 2024, and since then the year has been full of exciting and different adventures and wanderings.

My parents came to visit in March and whilst they were here in South Africa I celebrated my 50th Birthday. In addition, to fully commemorate this momentous event, I organised a trip with some family and friends to Botswana and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe/Zambia in May, which exceeded all our expectations and hopes. It was truly magnificent!

As well as this great escapade, we have also visited France, the UK and Spain this year, to stay and holiday with our family.

In between all this overseas travel, whilst on South African soil, Bryan and I have been continuing to explore many of the fabulous hiking trails and beach walks that the Garden Route has to offer.

We have also been on a couple of boating excursions, have tried out some new eateries and a recent big highlight this month has been our first 5-night Slackpacking Adventure. We absolutely loved it!

Over the next few weeks, I am going to be sharing with you some beautiful trails, delicious restaurants and some fun water based activities. These images are a little taster of what is coming, so stay tuned and I hope you enjoy my new posts.
