Hiring a car to explore the Garden Route

A popular choice many visitors take when they visit the Garden Route, is to hire a car and drive from Cape Town.

Many travellers, both from overseas and elsewhere in South and Southern Africa, fly into Cape Town International Airport and hire a car from the airport. They then and combine a holiday of a few days around Cape Town and the Cape Winelands, with a road trip to Cape Point, the penguins at Betty’s Bay then on to the Overberg region of Hermanus, to go whale watching, (and perhaps even a trip to Gansbaai for a shark cage diving experience). They then continue their drive via the N2 through Swellendam, or along Route 66 via Oudtshoorn, to the Garden Route.

If hiring a car is the best choice for you when you visit the Garden Route click on the link below to find some great prices for car hire.
