Where to stay and what to do in Sedgefield.

Sedgefield is a small and relatively unknown town along the Garden Route. It is located between George and Knysna. George is about 35kms west of Sedgefield and Knysna is about 25kms east of Sedgefield.

Many people pass by Sedgefield when they drive along the Garden Route, opting to visit the larger more well known towns of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, but Sedgefield has a wonderful relaxed and welcoming vibe and those that do stop by Sedgefield, return time and again.

The local Sedgefield residents are friendly and cheerful, and to be honest, they have a lot to be cheerful about. There are five beaches in Sedgefield, the huge Swartvlei Lagoon with its crystal clear waters, several highly rated restaurants and spectacular view points, as well as several hiking trails and the renowned Farmers Market known as Wild Oats Market.

As you would expect, there are a large number of different types of holiday accommodation also available in Sedgefield with prices to suit all budgets, from camping and backpackers, to luxury hotels and everything in between
