Where to stay when you visit the Garden Route, is a good question.

As we can see from the map and as mentioned on our “About” page, the Garden Route is a large area, stretching along 300kms of coastline, from Witsand in the Western Cape to Storm’s River in the Eastern Cape.

There are many wonderful towns and villages to visit on the Garden Route some coastal, others inland.

There is also and a huge diversity of types of accommodation to stay at, from remote farm stays, camping, forest hideaways, small seaside village to larger towns and cities, all within the Garden Route.

We will try to provide some information here about some of the best places to stay when visiting to the Garden Route.
